Made with Love
which means,
that this valley
has rich soils
and the people
living here will
always have
plenty to eat.
This valley was already inhabitat from
the romans, who left an ancient wall
behind one of our springs.
When we bought the property in
2009 it was already abandoned for
more than 30 years and the two
houses built in 1913 were ruins.
We rebuilt the ruins, one as our
living house, the other as a guest
house.
We also started to
renaturate the
valley, becouse it
was used to grow
Eucalyptus and the
original vegetation
was almost
destroyed.
We made the vow to spent a part of our
income to renaturate the valley.
We are very lucky to still have some old
chestnut and oak trees who rein here as
grandmothers and grandfathers for the
younger trees we planted.
2017 a terrible wildfire destroyed our land
and we had to start more or less all over
again. Thanks to our family and many
friends we never lost the courage to replant
and rebuild.
We used to sell our certified organic
vegetables at the markets in the area,
until the markets were closed due to the
first lockdown.
We still sell eggs and hen from our wonderful
Brahma chicken, which are allowed to run free.

I decided to return to my original profession as a
holistic therapist. My husband built me “Casa do Corvo”, my lovely
therapy palace, where I do gatherings, constellation work and and
